Based on public statement "SEC FinHub Staff Statement on OCC Interpretation/SEC FinHub Staff" dated Sept. 21, 2020; where the Staff encouraged parties seeking to structure and sell a digital asset, or to engage in related activities, to contact the FinHub Staff addressing any question; hereby our organization "DroidBrella Technologies, Inc." a C Corporation from the state of Florida, wanted to present itself to the SEC FinHub Staff, as an issuer of a novel Virtual Currency.

- More specifically, our virtual currency's official name is: "CICADA DIGITAL COIN" which abbreviation will be assumed "CDC".

- Moreover, Cicada Digital Coin, will be pegged to the local Fiat-Currency of the nation or territory where our products and services exist, thus Cicada Digital Coin or CDC should be labeled as a Fiat-backed Stablecoin.

- Moreover, Cicada Digital Coin will be native to our Mobile Robotic Operating System: HOVEROS™, which in turn is on itself a Blockchained Operating System (B-OS) meaning that it is based on blockchain technologies, thus providing access by default to all of our customers into a decentralized cryptocurrency and NFTs Virtual Reality Land subscribed to the context of a "Human Behind the Machine", thus will be the #HumanBehindMachine (our customers) the ones who own and control their own blockchain instance throughout membership, and not just a wallet on an specific blockchain. The user controls the private and intrusion free history of commercial interactions which may result on actual goods and services transactions or even the user's searches and interests inside the HOVEROS™ 's Marketplace will be bound by their personal blockchain, being built while and by using our DroidBrella™ devices in their outdoors activities.

- Moreover, HOVEROS™ will provide to all of our products customers with their own private Personal Blockchain for all Peer to Peer interactions to get registered, and such interactions may involve exchanges of good and services between the two peers parties to the transaction, having each Peer its own private personal blockchain, and the corresponding means to access and administer its digital assets by means of a hosted digital wallet by default to the user's account, from the moment a customer buys one of our hardware products.

- Moreover, Cicada Digital Coin assets will be cryptocurrency tokens in the context of a Fiat-backed Stablecoin or virtual currency, which means that the user of our products will have the ability of converting $1 USD into 1 Cicada crypto-token and vice versa, and the system infrastructure will ensure every transaction to be held in the context of a distributed ledger blockchain, thus making use of cryptographic keys and smart contracts ruling the interactions between Peers, between Decentralized Applications (dApps), and between Peers and dApps.

Our Progress & Foundational Research

Intellectual Property

Our company was officially founded on 03/02/2016, the date it submitted Its Utility Patent application for the world first "Automated Hands-Free Umbrella". We were working on the concept for such invention from years prior to submission until we finally did, disclosing invention details and later follow up with the USPTO patent application process. In less than a year we received favorable communications on our application from the Patents Office, and our patent was finally granted with issued date 03/28/2017.

We pursued patent international protection by submitting PCT applications in Europe and Japan. The Japanese Examiner without denying our invention, kept producing meaningless arguments in bad faith to dry us in purposeless legal process without ever granting it. We dropped it in Japan.

The European Patent Office (EPO) in Netherlands accepted our amendments in reply to the Spanish Examiner's objections, and finally has granted the patent. The European Patent Office published our patent on: 04.11.2020 - Bulletin 2020/45.

For us to keep control of our Products and Services in the region, we have started the EP Validation process in the following EPO Member States: Germany, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland and Principality of Liechtenstein.

Work

From the idea's conception day, our team has been relentlessly working on the feasibility for such invention with today's technology, planning, researching and sorting all kind of actual and possible to exists obstacles, as well as technology challenges to overcome in order to create our POCs, working prototypes, and subsequent MVP.

So far, our online presence has been worked out at some extent, conceptual animated videos on the invention have been produced and published to gain some traction and feedback from interested enthusiast people from around the globe, initial POC phase complete, and currently hardware and software core is being develop under iterative design and engineering implementation phases as part of respective Software AND Hardware Product Development Life Cycles.
